At Unity Grammar, our vision is driven by the fundamental questions of what it means to be a confident and comfortable Muslim in today’s world, and how to live a life of subservience to the Almighty with certainty in our final destination.

We strive to nurture learners who proudly wear Islam as their greatest badge of honour, surpassing all other identities.

To achieve this, our Islamic faith programs are meticulously designed to address three core components: critical knowledge, role modelling by educators, and experiential learning that emulates Prophetic practices.

Core Aspects of Islamic Education

The foundation of our faith is the belief in Allah (جل جلاله) and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم). We foster this belief and love through engaging teachings on the Names and Attributes of Allah and the life of the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم).

The Quran, the words of Allah (جل جلاله), guides our actions and nurtures our hearts. Our program emphasises Quranic reading fluency, Tajweed, and memorization, developing learners’ hearts holistically.

Practical application of belief is realised through worship. Our program includes explicit teaching, repetition, and understanding of obligatory worship, highlighted by daily congregational prayers and impactful Friday sermons.

The stories of the Prophets, as retold in the Quran, offer lessons for those of understanding. Storytelling is integral to our curriculum, allowing learners to relive and derive lessons from Quranic stories and Seerah.

Islamic values, derived from the Quran and Sunnah, define our ethics, morals, and good manners. Good character is the most significant outcome of our belief, determining our closeness to the Prophet in Jannah through ‘Husn al-Khuluq’ (good character).

We nurture a strong sense of identity rooted in faith, culture, and values. Our goal is to instill in learners a deep understanding of their place within the Ummah, fostering unity and belonging. This robust sense of identity equips our learners to navigate the modern world while remaining true to Islamic principles.

Our comprehensive approach ensures that learners from Kindergarten to Year 12 are equipped with a deep and practical understanding of their faith.
