Welcome to the Unity Institute, formerly known as Unity Grammar Alumni. Our vision is to foster a lifelong connection with our alumni, providing them with continuous support, growth opportunities, and a vibrant community network.
At Unity Institute, we believe in the power of mentorship and personal development. Our programs are designed to help our registered members thrive in their personal and professional lives.
What does the Unity Institute do?
The Institute will regularly undertake activities which will not only provide a link back to Unity Grammar but also create collegiality between past and present learners. Programs offered include:
Our mentoring programs connect alumni with experienced professionals who provide guidance, support, and valuable insights to help them navigate their career paths and personal growth journeys. In addition, Alumni also offer the opportunity to mentor current and graduating Year 12 students to help them navigate not only the HSC but also the transition into further education or the workforce.
We host a series of workshops and seminars focused on personal development, covering topics such as leadership, communication skills, and emotional intelligence. These sessions are designed to equip our members with the tools they need to succeed in all aspects of life.
We regularly invite esteemed guest speakers and presenters from various fields to share their knowledge and experiences. These events provide our members with unique learning opportunities and inspire them to reach new heights. These events are also a great way for Alumni to network amongst one another creating bonds in their respective fields.
Our general alumni gatherings are a great way for members to reconnect, network, and build lasting relationships. These events foster a sense of community and belonging, ensuring that our alumni remain an integral part of the Unity family. Teachers are invited to come and see where their students’ lives have taken them and reminisce on their time together at the school.
Alumni are always welcome to volunteer at all school events. Your participation and support are invaluable, and we encourage you to be part of major school events, contributing to the vibrant life of our school community.
All the above cannot be achieved without an active executive committee.
The Unity Institute is led by an executive committee which is elected by its members. This committee acts on behalf of the Institute and serves as the liaison point with the school, ensuring that the voices of our alumni are heard and their needs are met.
