This spiritually enriching experience allows learners to undertake Umrah and explore Islamic history around the world. This will deepen their faith, allow them to engage in charitable activities, and explore the global legacy of Islam.
A Pilgrimage Like No Other
Unity Grammar is one of the few schools in Australia to facilitate a journey this special, allowing learners to perform Umrah in Makkah, explore the world, and learn how our forefathers achieved greatness.
Building Faith, Identity, and Leadership
The journey is designed to:
- Guide learners through Umrah
- Take them to global locations touched by the Ummah
- Strengthen learners’ Islamic identity.
- Inspire spiritual growth and self-reflection.
- Cultivate leadership skills and a deep appreciation for Islamic heritage.
Male learners in Years 10 and 11 are guided through a pre-Umrah program featuring expert sessions with Sheikhs, insights from past participants, and lessons on the history and significance of the Kaaba.
Beyond the Journey
Upon their return, learners share their transformative experiences with the school community. Through Friday Khutba, journaling, peer presentations, and participating in events like Unity Grammar’s Reliving Hajj, they inspire others and carry forward the values of faith, belonging, and leadership.
